RVD: The Volunteer State does use a state outline on its state highway signs, but it is low and at the bottom. This sign is a modification of the state flag, with white numbers replacing the three stars.

From D.C. Mitchel

CCS: Instead of tending to my pages, I was clowning around and made up these. The state shape of TN doesn't lend itself well to this, but, here's my best shot. Hey after all, the Ohio sign isn't geographically correct, either, really..
